In some cases a disgraced celebrity can 'redeem' themselves by drawing attention away from the controversy with their work. In Hoegan's case, he can't even pull off a 60 year old worn out leg drop anymore. His current profession consists of floating around making public appearances so I doubt he'll be able to accomplish anything significant enough to change his public image at this stage in his life.
And let's not forget that he shined a light on something WWE works hard to cover up: what a dirtbag industry pro wrestling really is. Because of that you can count out Vince or Hunter throwing him a life raft anytime soon. Hoegan's finished and about to fade into irrelevance where he belongs.

Let's keep it 100. Brooke is not much of a looker herself. Even after the plastic surgery. So she's not exactly a "prize". So the "not on her level" hints at something else.

On an emotional front he should have been happy his daughter was happy.
On an financial front, he should have been happy that a guy (whos family has more money than Hulk) would even take an interest in his daughters music career.

I joke around a lot on here but im serious with this. Who the fukk is Terry Bollea to judge someone by skin color? This isnt some supposed thug off of the street. On another topic...is it safe to assume that Hogan loves his daughter 100x more than his son? I never hear him even mention that guy but he's INSANE over his daughter. Who she has sex with..the money that's put into her marketing and presentation....I don't even know if Brooke even deals with her mother anymore because of how loyal she's always been to her father.

He can't redeem himself but it doesn't even matter because as some have already said, a lot of the people actually think this situation is sad for him.
With some time and the right PR moves, he'll recover.
