I can't see Curry nor Kd in that tier of players. I think Lebron might be the last of the Gods of Basketball. We better enjoy this while it last.

I'm not the biggest Kobe fan either, but he's a Basketball God. You don't get the treatment Kobe got this past year without being one.

If healthy, KD and Steph will both have better numbers than Kobe when they retire and only need to add championship hardware to their repetoire(Curry has 1 already) for them to be considered all time greats on the same level as him.

They'll never get the same recognition for it because Kobe played for the GOAT and most popular basketball franchise.

LeBron, Durant, and Curry will all go down as better basketball players than Kobe to the fair minded.

It'll be some time until we see a top 5 all time player like James again. I think he'll wind up behind only Jordan when it's all said and done

What we do have is a handful of players in the game today playing at a historically great level and likely to finish among the best all time - Curry, Durant, Paul and Westbrook. Davis has all the tools to become the second coming of David Robinson and there's no telling how great Towns can become.
