how? he's lied so much he forgot his own lies. So many holes & contradicting scenarios is his raps, his attempts at 'deep' songs are always laughable because he's never been real his entire career. If he were to step out of character and make personal songs he'd lose his fans, na the best thing for Ross to do is what he been doing, make the same album he been making, if it ain't broke don't fix it. Mastermind might of been a dud to everyone else but his fans ate it up.

How the fukk is Rich Forever innovative though? If anything he probably wanted to get away from his usual repetitive trap influenced sound and sample based smooth shyt which is what he did on most of GFID. Sonically it's totally different and that's not by accident. Yeah we had the Hold Me Backs, 911, and So Sophisticated on GFID but the latter of those two are solid imo.

IMO his best overall album musically was Teflon Don. GFID was cool, but it was definitely a little boring. Still a good album though.

I'm not gonna pretend it was something amazing, but it was refreshing to hear tracks like Amsterdam or Ashamed. I feel like Ross has done the same trap song 100 times over and over just with different hooks

Rick Ross' biggest mistake was making Rich Forever a mixtape, it would be his true classic if it was a album. Perfect mix of commercial hits and street bangers.

I don't doubt Ross next album is gonna be on some next level shyt, his ear for production and delivery is enough to carry an album alone.
