I don't know what his metric is for "rare" or how you can even begin to calculate that, but for the most part I agree with his statement in it's entirety.

I don't believe that the average person is "racist" but probably more ethnocentric.

This is a high profile group of people, politically organized and protesting. Shooting at protesters of one singular race and having the media barely covering it shows there lives matter less due to race.

I remember pulling up to a gas station in a brand new 09 Challenger and some white boy that worked there just hawked me the whole time like I was going to steal a candy bar. I've been followed in stores wearing a suit. I got stories for days. So no, having wealth doesn't automatically give you a pass. They can be picking up elephant shyt by hand in exchange for heroin and still think they're better than your black ass.

He's rich and he's famous. He's surrounded by people of all races kissing his ass and trying to get a piece of him. Higher up the social ladder you are the less you're going to deal with it.
