They don't hear you though. Half of the peopLe here are looking for an excuse to not support blacks they weren't going to support anyway. :manny:

Remember " do the right thing?" When sal was talking about Jackie Robinson and Willie Mays? They don't see black entertainers as black.

Which is why we got types on here that love hip hop and rappers and hate black people.

The average black folk is an objext of scorn and a nuisance to whites cause they remind them that they didnt work or earn anything fairly including this country. If they was making them laugh helping them get laid with slang and muaic or leading their team to a championship they would not give a flying dutch fcuk.

wow, preach, brother :wow:

The dollar should be stronger than any pride in your race though. Unfortunately. Your personal success has to be first. The success and well being of yourself and your family has to come before the opinion of you're people. There's not enough money in "staying true" or "speaking up". That's a fact. You're basically telling people to choose staying true over going as far as they can in life, financially speaking. Especially entertainers.

You see how quick black people withdraw their support, you got people talking about boycotting MBJ because he dated white women. That's insane. Black entertainers are the only ones held to this standard. Latinos don't even go through that. J.Lo literally plays a white woman in movies, and has since 2000. Does a whole bunch of :mjpls: to Latinos and they still love and support her and treat her as one of their own. Black people have that sense of community until you do ONE thing they don't like, then it's game over. I don't blame anyone who shuts up and goes for that mainstream bread. How could you?

You stay true to blacks? Not enough opportunity and money. And mainstream closesmyou out. You go :mjpls: you're a sellout and boack people close you out. The best decision is to just stay neutral. And focus on your success without offending either side. For entertainers anyway.

Denzel does this, LowKey. Because leading by example with exellence is more than enough. And more beneficial than going on anti-white rants.
Homie...let me tell you something staying neutral is the key to success anywhere period.

But as an African/West Indian man who loves his family and cares about black people i wouldnt be uttering no dumb shyt like Will did here (which disappointed me honestly).

Ill say this...money aint shyt. As a business person. Money ruined black people and consumerism and materialism is killing us. The federal reserve could crash tomorrow the market could crash and all that money would be worthless. Period. Just paper. So why put that value over your people?

This is why i dont respect some of yall on here. Always bragging about who got more 6 figure 6 series 6 feet 6 dimepieces when collectively as a race we dont even got two quarters to rub together.

We spend trillions are year...and it goes back to who? Not us.

I stopped putting such value in that after working on wall street. Which was built on an african slave graveyard and was used as marketplace to buy and sell african slaves.

It doesnt matter how much money you have in this world. We still gonna be n words to them.

"The gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has declined to co-star with Hollywood star Will Smith yet again.

Two years ago, Smith offered Ash a role in his comedy 'Hitch' which Ash could not accept due to time constraints."
Aishwarya Rai again declines to star with Will Smith : Bollywood News : ApunKaChoice.Com

Racism is all around you Willard....you're just too to naive to peep the game.:francis:
Who cares about that though? This is as bad as nikkas who scream racism when a white woman decides she doesn't want to sleep with BM. Who gives a fukk? Like Hitch wasnt a massive success. thats her loss. Not his.

Meanwhile Ms. Rai would never be able to star in ANY Hollywood film...period. unless she was in a role being subservient to a white actor. Like any non white actor or actress.

Its funny and sad how non whites play themselves and get played in this system.

Materialism isn't killing us. Lack of priorities is killing us. White people are materialistic too, but they do what needs to be done first. And they have family and support systems to fix their mistakes. There's nothing wrong with wanting to smell good, or look good. The problem is in spending money you don't have.

The FED RES could crash tomorrow and money would be worthless. But that hasn't happened yet. Like it or not, money matters. I feel the same way. "race" and "money" are equally stupid to me. But I know that In the world we live in, it matters.

Collectively as a race, we need to do better. And that starts with individuals doing better. I can't worry about every black man. I worry about myself first. As everyone should. I'm not shaming black people who have money. Nor am I shaming the ones who work hard.

I took someone's advice and actually READ the article. What Smith is saying isn't exactly what the title is saying.

I live with constant prejudice, but racism is actually rare — someone who thinks their race is superior. I don’t want to work for them. I don’t want to work at that company. And the times I have come in contact with it, you get away from those people.

And, you'd think he doesn't come into contact mch w/ people who think theyre superior.

The only wealthy blacks I'll take an opinion from are pro-athletes because even though they have money, they are still a part of an oppressive system. (i.e. owner -> coach -> player)
They sellout too though. But a lot get that wake up call because they are not famous. Having money doesn't mean shyt if you are black. It's the fame part.

Say I win the lotto and I go to buy a Bugatti with a brief case of money. If they do acknowledge me, they are going to scope the fukk out me. May not even take the cash. If I wanted to pay cashier's check or even use my Black credit card they would probably ask for DNA.

Enter Will Smith. He would have to problem because he is famous.

Last comment.

How can will say this...

When hollywood makes movies about egypt with an all white cast as Pharoahs and kings and queens and blacks as servants? But get in an uproar cause they want to make a fictional character like Green lantern black?

When hollywood takes films like Akira and releases them for american audiences with an all white cast? And act like there arent asian actors and actresses that could command an audience on an international scale?

When Hollywood is just being dumbass hollywood and using the public's own glaring insecurities with race as a narrative to make money and be greedy a$$holes?

My thing is I dont watch tv, i dont watch movies, i dont watch sports, i dont fukk with the media like that cause the hypocrisy and utter bs is just too obvious for me to ignore.

This is why I dread fame...I'd speak my mind and end up getting blackballed. Maybe we need a dude/dudette like that again though.

Materialism does kill black folks, because a lot of them don't even have the money to do it. These Cacs make way more money than blacks. Forget the celebrities. I'm talking the common black and white male. A black male can have the same credentials and depending on the industry would make 30k + less than the white male on average. I did payroll for different companies and saw it with my own eyes over the years. When you have extra money like that you can afford to take care of your bills and buy extra things. That's the difference.

And that's where self accountability comes in then.
