Aunt Viv really back. RIP James Avery man. 2020 is some Legendary sh!t people will be writing about for the next 1,000 years for everything happening this year. Nothing against Daphne, she's a fantastic actress as well. The issue was we LOVED OG Aunt Viv. She played off Uncle Phil flawless. She was also a motherly figure for Will. Plus she had that swag as well. It was sad they had drama all these years. I'm sure they both regret things they have said. The powerful thing about forgiveness is that it doesn't absolve the person. What it does is show is people can change and grow. After Avery's death, I'm sure Will felt the reunion energy wouldn't be right without making this right. I'm very happy for Janet and Will. Now how are they going to do this on the reunion? "Fresh Prince" is a legendary show. A Prime time television show with a Rap Song as it's intro. As for the this new "Dramatic" Reboot. I don't know, I think Fresh Prince is a funny and colorful show. It had drama and serious issues but the overall tone of the show is fun. I think they should of kept that tone instead of more serious but well see. For years I thought Will was going to reboot it with Willow and call it "The Fresh Princess". Basically Will would be a famous record producer or athlete in LA and Carlton got into the Legal field like Uncle Phil. Have Will and Carlton raising families on the show in Bel Air with cameos from Ashley, Jeffery and Hilary and Aunt Viv. That could of worked

She seems to have/had as much disdain if not more for Carlton than she did for Will. I think feels/felt like both Carlton and Will didn't stick up for her when she demanded more money on the show.

Her energy on the show was sorely missed as new Aunt Viv was just there without any sort of charisma/personality. I'd even go as far in saying that old Aunt Viv is the best black female mother/character of all time and even on television in general. It's not even close.
