Ok if we gonna play it that way. How about spike lee wanted to do Ali. Will had this man audition for the role or whatever. Basically had spike come in, told him to “broaden his horizons” in order to get the jobIts a short list of actors that work with those big name directors. Will is probably at the bottom of that short list.Plus most of you have already questioned his acting ability yet think Spielberg or Scorsese would want Will to lead there movie. And if Im doing a movie with Tarantino as a black man you damn right Im going to need some control so he dont have me doing some c00n shyt or some fukk shyt.Personally i wouldnt work with him,and damn sure wouldnt comprimise my morals for that shytty film that was Django. I dont see how any of the movies he posted would have stopped this discussion from taking place among some segment of Will Smith fans. Yall dont understand its different when your known as Mr Box Office like Will was. Will could have picked great roles and people would still be talking about how they flopped. Proof is Wills movies havent been that bad and are usually enjoyable on first watch, though not memorable.

It’s shyt like that. No we don’t know for 1000% that all these actors and directors would work with him if he called and asked and took a pay cut and relinquished control. But with all the d and c list actors they keep bringing “back” into stardom, I’m sure they wouldn’t turn the man down
. Also Malcolm X was overated due to Denzels greatness,the more you know about Malcolm the less you enjoy the film. Too much wasted time.Plus I dont even remember Ali being in Malcolm X movie,if he was it must have been just barely and I dont remember. No Ali but at least 30 minutes worth of Spike Lee and Malcolm together. Malcolm X and Ali deserve another remake. Tangent over,i just think you guys are assuming Will is a shoe in for these roles with big name directors.im not for a black actor taking pay cuts and giving up his juice since nobody other than Will has had this type of power yet.
