I'm going to make this short. We have a lot of issues in our community. Besides corrupt cacs we also have people of our own skin that will either sell us out for a dollar or harm their own. I get poverty, but sh-t is getting WORSE for us. We don't have a huge AA type of lobby like Jews, Mexicans, or Cubans (politically).

The question is, do you think Blacks/AA's will rise up and take charge in our lifetime? I'm not talking individually, but as a collective group.

What would it take to bring the black man back in the home? Also, what would it take for the black woman to respect and honor the black man? I wonder about this a lot.

ultimately what you're talking about is black culture; attitudes, verbiage, views and lifestyles that are and aren't accepted in our group

and there just isn't any negative stigma attached to ANYTHING in our community that's self destructive

in other communities, having children by people all over the place, not taking education seriously, NOT wanting to work but hustle in the streets

these things are frowned upon in just about every culture on planet earth but ours. even in dirt poor, poverty stricken, war torn developing nations they covet marriage, education, religion etc etc...

none of this will change overnight, it will take generations to get back on track, most of us will be dead and gone and that's IF it happens.

this is what happens when you turn an entire community into a voting farm...but that's for another discussion that y'all ain't ready for :coffee:

I agree with you and AA's aren't a monolith, but we have been turned into one in some ways. I'll go into detail about that later on today when I create my thread on Black Feminism.

No troll btw. I was watching some classic documentaries about the civil rights and black power movement. What would it take to bring the black man back in the home? Also, what would it take for the black woman to respect and honor the black man? I wonder about this a lot.
Women, especially sistahs, are loyal to their bread and butter plus their ability to consume. Since they can’t get that from brothas then no. That’s why a loud batch of African women ride so hard against African men. They know their anglo zaddies, as they say, love that.

The black community was intact when the men were in control of it. They incentivized for women to reproduce while keeping the man out of the house and out of control. No other communities in the US have majority of women as the head of households.

It’s not sistahs’ fault and it isn’t brothas’ fault either. However, sistahs need to stop jumping in front any social platform bashing African men but omit the transgressions of anglo saxons. Male and female.

There's going to be a massive thinning if the herd. But the brehs and brehettes who don't fall for the thousands of okie dokes out here, will make it. We still have about 2 more generations of fukkery until we really see a change tbh. But we can be the spark that changes the narrative.
