Oblivion was better, they lost their luster with Skyrim and Fallout 4.

Oblivion really honored RPG mechanics.

plus Oblivions Dark Brotherhood is one of the greatest questlines I've ever played in a game. framing people in the Whodunit quest with poison apples, accidentally wasting your own brotherhood because of a mole in the unit, putting the Captains dead son's finger in his desk as a big "fukk you!"

Yeah can't imagine playing any Bethesda RPG tittle without mods. I purposely wait 6 months after a launch just so the unofficial patches can drop.

Half of them just to fix the bugs

I tried replaying Oblivion on ps4 (or 3?) and I couldn't get into the controls not to mention the constant crashing.

To this day the Oblivion ps3 port is beyond broken. Worse than the 360 version.
