The biggest effect the South has is on the production sounds. I will readily admit that. But as far as overall running the game, they aren't. You can't deny their past impact has effected the sound of the current music. With that said, they don't run rap. No region runs rap. It's a collection of different artists all across the map now. Rap relatively sounds so much alike now, that people can barely tell who's from where





. From creating new flows, to new soundscapes, to new energy
, its like a machine down there, the dopest part is the commardary down there. How everybody works together, from the producers to the rappers themselves. Sonny Digital and Metro Boomin are homies, Rich Homie Quan n Young Thug are cool with each other. The OGs like Gucci have helped facilitate almost every single up and coming artist down there, from Waka to Migos to Future to Young Scooter to Young Thug.
