Too many followers for their to be another Pac. Personally I don't think the White man will allow another Pac to blow up. The songs that made people love Pac couldn't make an album in todays climate and damn sure couldn't get radio spins. Picture program directors playing "So Many Tears" today.

That goes for about 90% of tracks back then tho. There's nothing particularly special about So Many Tears that makes it different in that respect. Program a Directors wouldn't play Triumph these days either - there's no chorus

Others will probably disagree, but I actually think Reks is somewhat like a modern day Pac - just in terms of the music.

- both didn't really hit their peak until their 3rd album
- both use fairly simple/straight forward lyricism
- both have very good presence on the mic/emotion in their delivery imo
- both can make aggressive content (although Pac's was more violent) or more laid back stuff; both are versatile
- both have a lot of social awareness/meaning in their lyrics, although Pac was obviously much better in that regard
However their sound/style is different

Keep letting them folks lie to me
