Who was better than McNabb outside of Brady and Manning from 2002-2008?
I'm legit interested :lupe:

First off, what kinda outta-left-field shyt is he was top 3 from 2002-2008, that's some E!spn stat shyt, but i`ll indulge you.

Why don't you just do some research.

You can just do where he ranked in the league in passer rating.

2002 7th
2003 16th
2004 4th
2005 16th
2006 4th
2007 9th
2008 15th

So off of that alone, in those years he wasn't once statistically a top 3 passer. To me, it kinda tells me what he always was, a top 10 guy, but the lower 10.

To me, you look at him year in and year out, he's no HOF'er.

Gimme Brees, Rivers, Rothlisberger, Warner and others in that time period.

Smack yourself for calling McNabb a HOFer.
hes at very least borderline, I dont know why are so anti-mcnabb you cant see his stats do the talking

his td/int ratio is 8th all time, and was done in the era when passing was hard, and done without many weapons

more career tds than warner, hes 25th on the list on career TDs, and out of inactive qbs only 3 are in that top 25 and NOT in HoF

6 time pro bowler
pro football reference similar careers to him is a bunch of hall of famers.

seems like youre dismissing all those things in favor of his team never being able to win the SB

It's not even about the SB, even though he was a tremendous choker 5 years in a row.

He simply isn't that level to me, but neither are a lot of players. HOF means you're the best of the best, I simply do not see McNabb in that way.

That pro bowl shyt means fukking nothing, it's a made up award in which fans voted on, so miss me with that.

To me, he was a product of Andy, he left Philly and he was doo doo plain and simple.

It's funny how Vick had a better year than in 1 year McGag ever had in that offense.

he left philly when his career was pretty much done

and vicks year wasnt close to mcnabbs year when he had TO, not sure how you came to that conclusion

13-2-0 300 469 64.0% 3875 31 6.6 8 1.7 80 8.3 8.8 12.9 258.3 104.7

completion %, td, int, td/int ratio, y/a, qb rating, pretty much everything better

anyway, so if you think HoF is best of the best, this surely must mean you also think Frank Gore is not HoF or at least borderline HoF ?

Frank probably ain't HOF honestly.

I`d love for him to be, but his stats don't really put him there.

To me you gotta be the best of the best and have significant success (winning a ring/MVP etc)

That's why i`d put a guy like Warner in over him, because he has the accolades, while all McGag has is some good numbers. No MVP's, no rings and no big playoff moments of success, most his shyt was failures.

Also, look at the longevity of the dude, he was a bum in his early 30's, meanwhile his contemporaries the same age as him are still tearing up the league (Brady/Manning) years later. He was legitimately DONE at 33.

fair enough, looks like you have a different HoF standard than the one employed by the league. as long as its consistent I can respect it.

Brees didn't throw 30td's until 2008
Roethlisberger had one good season(2007)
Warner was injured/didn't start most of 2002-2008
You wanna try that again breh?

I think honestly too many do get put in, somebody once said it best, if you subtract that person from the record books do you miss anything?

And I don't think you do with McNabb, you got a guy who never led the league in anything, doesn't hold any significant records, never won the big one, fluctuated often when it came to stats and really doesn't even have any signature moments.

I mean that doesn't apply for everyone, but really, McNabb was simply a good QB, but the mark he left on the game is very forgettable. He's best known for 4th and 26 and puking in the SB. Those are his standout moments
