Us politics has been batshyt crazy for a while but Trump has taken it to another level never seen before

All the traditions and rulebook has been shredded and nothing matters anymore

worse of all, the craziest,most extreme politicians like MTG,De santis,Gosar,Boebert,ted cruz,matt Gaetz et al continue to be electable which
indicates the voters are just as crazy as the people representing them

I fear the MAGA movement is here to stay even long after Trump passes on

The next phase will be shaped by AI, EVs, remote work and robots. Think about how big climate change was back in 2007. I think the biggest “idea” that will hit next is child learning at what is being taught in public schools.

As we all knew this is probably the last generation that will prosper in this country in the next lifetime. Before the country inevitably becomes mature and stops growing population wise. Not saying that we won’t be here in another 500 years but American is still a new country/settlement.

These next kids being born now will decide what this country will look like for the a long time.

Depends. Politics has been worse. 1850's. 1950's. 1790's-1810's. I mean Aaron Burr and Alex Hamilton had a fukking pistol duel.

Usually something catastrophic has to happen or someone in the media helps set the record straight. Seems like it goes in 50-60 year cycles that's why no one competent and cognizant can explain how fukked up it was the last time.
