Sucks, because the Podcast was just kinda hitting its stride. Even though you could tell that them 2 are "Frenemies" but had a great rapport. Wonder what the $$$ was like.

IMO, Willie had a legit gripe, and being who he is, went about it the way he seemingly always does. Face can play the nonchalant angle, but more than likely, I doubt he even cared one way or the other. He just let it play out the way it did. But that's mostly been the case with this group.

NOW, Willie knows how the industry is. He knows that they've been calling the more popular/successful/visible member of the group as a soloist, to do/represent/perform group material for decades. That's just the way the game goes. Take it up with the establishment, because that's who the real culprit is.

nah. he tried to be diplomatic about it and Face started playing dumb and then saying well you right everything is my fault instead or really acknowledging Will's feelings. put yourself in Will shoes. no way you can do that and say he handled it wrong. I mentioned Cube/Ren earlier but the part you are not factoring is....Ren could say...damn I thought you was my boy Cube...but they not really seeing each other on a reg basis. these two guys doing a podcast and see each other weekly and still live in the same city. thats foul. De La, Wu, P.E. Outkast, none of them dudes probably see each other on a reg basis and even if they did it wouldnt excuse that shyt.

I am not sure whats wrong with you guys but you are missing the point and Will said that most mf's that dont see it his way havent put any time or effort into anything significant and thats why they are yapping.

You can defend Face and say it was a mistake or misunderstanding but point blank, without Willie D there would be no Geto Boys as we know it. Not talking bout the original members.....the successful group contained Bill, Face, and Will. their most successful song was MPTOM. Face said they couldve asked him to do any of his solo songs. He also said if the billing said Geto Boys then thats fukked up.

Whoever was in charge was on some fukk shyt. Ask Face to do one of his songs and KIM. dont fukkin put MPTOM on the billing or run PERIOD if you arent going to invite the group members. This goes for group members who produced the song even but ESPECIALLY if a mf rapped on it. Whats so hard to comprehend about this.
