No video cameras present in the small Hershey arena so the game wasn't video taped or televised. But the play by play was broadcast live to Hershey, NY and Philadelphia on the radio. The broadcast wasn't known to have been recorded by anyone until in the late 1980's some dude found an old audio reel in his dad's attic of sports memorabilia or something and by some freak chance it turned out to be the full fourth quarter of Wilt's 100 point game. Here it is, uncut. RIP Bill Campbell, radio broadcaster doing play by play, who just passed 2 days ago, which prompted me to upload this, I been sitting on it a few years.

College Park by way of East Bmore
They rushed the floor and stopped the game :wow: when he got 100.

With that being said Kobe's 81 is still more impressive :manny:
No. But maybe close. Wilt can't be compared to mere mortals. Kobe is iconic but he is still mortal. You never wan't to get into a debate about Wilt's stats. Can't win breh. It's funny how cacs prop up Babe Ruth's records but reduce Wilt to some footnote because of the "times" he played in or the"competition" he played against.:snoop: Other than maybe Gretsky, Wilt has the most enduring records in all of sports.
