this is a game that can be considered lost in time... it was one of the first cover based third person shooters of its time and was Koeis answer to Konami's Metal gear Solid series. You play as a Special swat team called S.C.A.T. whose goal is to infiltrate a former government base that was captured by terrorists.

it had a fairly good story and a fun 4 player multiplayer system. the Music and sound effects were also fairly high quality aswell, with the weapons having a fairly nice sounding punch to them. unfortunately outside of an HD remaster for the PS2 and a low budget sequel that was pushed out under the radar, the series fell off the face of the earth...

despite that, it left behind a long legacy that even includes influencing the game mechanics of both "Gears of War" and "Resident Evil 4" with its cover system and laser aiming mechanics respectively

so to end this, I salute you, Winback :salute:you offered many fun moments of 4 player deathmatches with me, my lil bro, and the neighborhood kids. while you may not exist in this world anymore, your legacy will continue to live on

...
I'd rep op for this if I could.:wow:

Had so much fun with this game as a kid. It was eerily quiet for the most part, nice soundtrack that fit the game perfectly, and a wonderful multiplayer experience to boot. Me and my friends had a blast with this one but I never see it mentioned anywhere.:wow:

One of the very first cover based shooters. I'm struggling to think of one before it.

They also made a ps2 version
yup, posted about it in the article, it was an HD remake :takedat:
