detroit, houston, san antonio and memphis cap space make them good fits if phoenix wants to get below the 2nd apron. the bucks are another possibility if kuzma and whatever draft capital they can put together would be enough.

those are the 5 teams that are in the best cap positions but also good fits for durant. i'd be very surprised if it wasnt one of those teams.

Dude is a hell of a player and won those two chips for golden state

But I think he’s at a point where he just wants to play ball and get a check and going for another chip isn’t important

He is gonna be 37. 37 year olds that got chips generally aint trippin on them like that.

KD doesnt move the needle anymore

37 year olds generally dont. The issue here is that teams will have to treat him like he does in order to acquire him (trade quality players and picks and extend him at 50-60 per). And that just gonna create the same issue somewhere else. People dont wanna say it because his jumper still so perty and smooth but homey has ironically reached the GP and Malone stage of his career. But instead of latching on for a discounted rate as a FA he is being traded and commanding a max still.

Would be perfect for the Heat. We will have cap space and just need another certified scorer

I think we all knew this was coming once they tried to trade him during the deadline. Houston would be a great spot if they don't have to give up to much. And they have enough talent that they wouldn't have to give up Senguin or Green. If they could keep Thompson too I'd take the chance on KD if I were them. With or without a trade though KD has had an all time great career but one that could have been so much more. If he had the balls to demand 22-25 shots a night while he was in OKC his whole career would have went differently. He should have broken MJ's consecutive scoring title record with ease but he was to content being passive aggresive until he comes time to go back and forth with fans.

GP & Malone were averaging 26/6/4 on 53/40/82 at Year 17? :camby:

KD moves the needle, he just ain't gonna do it on a team with shyt roster construction like the Suns
