Durant really is one of the more interesting stories in modern NBA history. They need to do a 30 for 30 based on him and each team he played for detailing how it all went to shyt in each situation

This is why NBA talk is bottom tier :russ:

Obviously would've preferred he joined Houston in summer 2016. But in summer 2026 tho? Not particularly interested. This is assuming Phoenix wants a massive haul of assets in return.

Bc if it doesn't work out in year 1, now we're left holding the bag and feeling pressed to not stand still / give up even more assets to bring in another guy who could maybe syngerize with a 38/39 year-old injury prone star.

GP & Malone were averaging 26/6/4 on 53/40/82 at Year 17? :camby:

KD moves the needle, he just ain't gonna do it on a team with shyt roster construction like the Suns

This a way different era. Easier to score now. Cant really compare numbers from a different era. Somebody made a great point about the % of points kd use to contribute to his team now vs then. It’s way lower now.

He's going to Minnesota to play with Ant Man
This was a trade that was discussed so I can see them going back to it in the summer, however I dont see Timberwolves being much different unless they keep all their core guys in the trade. If Durant truly wants to compete, he needs to ask for Rockets or Mavs.

He really shoulda done 2 things……. Told the media it’s his life and he living it the way he wants, and handled his business straight up with Draymond.

That way he coulda stayed with Golden State and avoided being passed around like crazy.

Is it really easier to score now? I don't know if that statement is true. There's plenty of guys that can't score even in this era

Of course he knows it, he going to ask for it :mjlol:

Probably end up in Hou or SA. Can't see him going back to OKC and they could spend their draft capital on something better than KD.
