let us brehs without central A/C take a moment to appreciate window units. My room and living room feel like a icebox off this old ass GE unit, it say April 1989 on it

I was boosted when i got my own a/c unit in my room at mombs dukes crib.

Never left that bytch

had that joint set to a brisk 64 degrees at all times

It was years before my grandmother even bought a window unit.

Louisiana summers are very hot and humid.

My mother and I would be in there drenched in sweat when we would go visit her. It wasnt until like the late 90s or early 2000s my uncle finally convinced her to put a window unit in her house. Even then it would just cool off the front rooms, it would still be hot in the bedrooms.

Used to stay at my grandmothers crib for summers when I was little. One AC for the whole house. In her bedroom. We used to all bring blankets and sheets and sleep on the floor in her room at night. Me, my uncle, aunt and my brother. Good times.

About to get another central air unit for my crib. This one only gets my house cool to 75-72.
