after like two weeks of no wasps just had one fly in right after posting this...had to kill him with a bookgot my unit running right now
only problem is the window screen has punctures so sometimes wasps get in

Somebody pushed my girl window unit in and ransacked her crib while she was at work 
3 years later it finally konked out on the hottest day of the yearlet us brehs without central A/C take a moment to appreciate window units. My room and living room feel like a icebox off this old ass GE unit, it say April 1989 on it

They don't make them like they used to
We have an almost 30 year old central furnace, Lennox
I spend about $60 a year for 12 filters, change em monthly
Not high efficiency like the models of today
But
Still runs and keeps us nice and warm in the winter
Not replacing that shyt until it dies
Yeah, thing was a tank and my landlord said he never use to take it out in the winter. Just cover it with a tarp because it was a hassle to take all the brackets and shyt off each fall.

We're the two trash ones 5,000 btu units? 5,000 btu are the weakest A/C units and will struggle to cool a large space.
Breh, I can tell you are all about getting the most use out of products.

We called them "Swamp Coolers". Central Air/Heating is a special gift from the heavens. I hate those damn "swamp coolers". Have everything in the house feeling all icky. Then you gotta kinda crack your windows slightly so the air can pull through the house. But if that's what you have it's what you have. They do work good enough for relief.
