The volume/brightness/etc. keys seem to be working for this guy, granted it's an old build



Around the 7:30 mark. If you're not installing the drivers manually, that may be the issue.

How are you trying to do it? Are you using their tool and pointing the ISO to it?

Yeah I just direct it to the ISO. The actual ISO file is already on the USB. It's the bootcamp driver software that's downloading from Apple shytty server that's holding me up. If I could skip it and install it later I would, but it doesn't give me an option for that

Unfortunately I don't think any of those tools will work on a Mac

Thought I already did that... It put the windows icon in my task bar and told me over a month ago that I would be notified when it's ready

And confirmed that I wouldn't have any compatibility issues with the upgrade

Now it doesn't say shyt... Just spins..

Unless what you posted is a different D/L tool ??

My desktop working fine but my laptop got no sound.

Got all my pcs and laptops upgraded to win10.

Open an administrator command prompt and type,

powercfg -h off

This turns hibernation off and gives you like 20 gigs back.

You can also disable your pagefile if you have 8GB or more of ram.

That ain't give me shyt back.

upgraded the HTPC today. went smooth. need to play around with it more - I only use this one for Kodi.

when the main system gets the update I will mess around with it more.

Nah man it's this dumb ass Win10 that's fukking up. Now when I run the tool, I get back several GB's but last night it came up to an error and I had more than enough space that it said it needed. Gonna try again, if this shyt doeesn't work I'm going to tombstone this desktop.

the tool is kinda goofy. the first time I tried to use it on my laptop, I left it downloading, but when I came back it was just back at the desktop like nothing happened (no error message, nada). ran it again (and it d/l'ed again), this time keeping an eye on it, and it worked fine
