Do you mean aside from the fact that I prefaced it with , "Legit question here":patrice:

I mean since I made the switch from MS to Apple I couldn't be happier. I dread whenever I have to use a windows machine. I only use Apple computers though, not phones.

Because the entry price of the hardware turn some off, while the OS turns others off.

I absolutely love my Macbook Pro because its amazingly well built and the battery lasts forever, but I can't say it's worth leaving Windows unless you have a specific use for it.

Legit Question here,

What makes you guys stick with MS over going to OS X route?

And how is Windows X ,honestly?

My only big reservation leaving Windows is certain software. Other than that I've been looking to try out OSX because of some of the exclusive software and a new experience. I've seriously considered switching to a Linux variant. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be too disrupted with a lot of things switching but then I'd run into issues when I wanted to use the Adobe Suite or software like that.

I'd rather not use WINE or virtual machines. Or Boot Camp if we're talking OSX.

Basically it all boils down to familiarity and dependency.

As far as Windows 10 goes, I'm a long way away from thinking about upgrading. People in here talk about paranoia but there's a lot of things that are valid with the whole data collection aspect. I don't particularly want my operating system reporting back to someone I don't know on me. I actively try to bar against that. However successful I am is up for debate between me and the people possibly spying on me.

Though I've installed it on a few family machines and it seems alright the limited amount of time I've used it. There are lots of small annoying things that might bother people going from 7 to 10 but I doubt most users would care.

I got it on my work laptop, my girls laptop, and my desktop at home. Windows 10 is alright with me :ehh:
I play all my games on my pc and I have a sound card. That's what's holding me back. I want my shyt to work. I probably won't update until the first dx12 game comes out and I'm forced to.

yeah, a creative one. I gotta look into drivers. I knew there were issues before, so that's why I've been holding off

Went back to Windows 7 until my VPN sub is done which should be next month, tap drivers don't seem to work with Windows 10 and I feel naked without my VPN
what vpn do you use? I need a vpn to work also. Another reason to not upgrade I guess
