Legit Question here,
What makes you guys stick with MS over going to OS X route?
And how is Windows X ,honestly?
My only big reservation leaving Windows is certain software. Other than that I've been looking to try out OSX because of some of the exclusive software and a new experience. I've seriously considered switching to a Linux variant. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be too disrupted with a lot of things switching but then I'd run into issues when I wanted to use the Adobe Suite or software like that.
I'd rather not use WINE or virtual machines. Or Boot Camp if we're talking OSX.
Basically it all boils down to familiarity and dependency.
As far as Windows 10 goes, I'm a long way away from thinking about upgrading. People in here talk about paranoia but there's a lot of things that are valid with the whole data collection aspect. I don't particularly want my operating system reporting back to someone I don't know on me. I actively try to bar against that. However successful I am is up for debate between me and the people possibly spying on me.
Though I've installed it on a few family machines and it seems alright the limited amount of time I've used it. There are lots of small annoying things that might bother people going from 7 to 10 but I doubt most users would care.
