But the rest of the world :ppvbro:

index.php

A lot of closed-minded people out there.
Look, I'm not saying that you have to upgrade to Windows 8 if you have 7, but if you have 8 (bought a new PC with it pre-installed, or got it for cheap), you can set it up to boot into the desktop and run just like 7, except on an improved O/S (e.g., less memory usage, improved security). If you have 7 and don't want to upgrade, cool. But to say 8 is "fukk*ng trash" is short-sighted.

This chart is fukking retarded during the Vista days
1. Android, iOS and cheap tablets weren't out
2. Laptops were still expensive
3. No real option out there until OSX hit them with the MAC VS PC ad

And just to add
1. Vista is the transition from 32 to 64 bit

Whatever you need to justify how much the world does not like this OS :ehh:

Make the Metro UI an OPTION in the first Windows 8 service pack and I gurantee you the adoption rates will skyrocket.

Til then...join us as we countdown the days to Steve Ballmers end as the head honcho of this company because it is coming and Windows 8 will be one of the reasons.

I think your 100% wrong I don't the product is bad at all and users like it. MS fukked up with not being to advertise it correctly look they didn't provide the end users shyt when it came to instructions.

I teach somebody the useful Start Menu trick and how to use modern BAM they love the OS.

Y'all just hating probably never tried it. Modern is better than your little start menu it's just more efficient at finding and launching apps.

Plus what makes you think Win8 will adopt faster without Modern to the end user nothing changed on the desktop its not like they know how how to ALT CTRL DEL.

I don't think that the Heat are a lock to win the NBA title but the numbers are heavily against me

Yeah I still don't get the infatuation with the Start Menu. Linux is moving on, OSX is moving on, and now Microsoft is too.

It's ok try searching EBAY or maps directly from your Windows 7 desktop just saying?

Say if I have 3 screens and want to launch an app notepad++ I would have to minimize everything find the app and launch it.

OR I can press the Windows Key type Note look all the way to the bottom left and see if its the right notepad.

Get outta here man Windows 8 I press the Win Key + No BAM Notepad++ that = efficiency.

I have 3 screens you dumb fakkit and all I have to do is either click on start or hit the windows key and type notepad++, you really think that's something new Windows 8 brought to the table? :russ:

Who the fukk searches Ebay/Maps from a Metro App on a desktop? :heh:

I'm sure a majority of users go to Ebay or Google Maps directly on their browsers, :comeon:

You reaching for the stars, :cape:

see thats the thing you have to type Notepad++ searching and indexing is faster on Windows 8 than it is on Windows 7 it provides more accurate results.

Who the fukk searches ebay the modern app its just easier have you tried it? content in a modern app is presented better. Ebay, Chive, FFFFound anything to do with pictures it looks nicer in Modern its more user friendly even with a mouse + KB

I mean you could but browsers are whack compared to modern the content is all over the place modern its straight to the point like how I mentioned above.

In reality its up to you. I switch to modern because Im tired at looking at my desktop especially after 3 hours on a computer modern is a nice change.

It's not like you have to use it you can use Win8 without modern apps its actually better especially with a 3 monitor setup.

Here's another idea why Win8 is better.

I have no idea what anime is out nowadays so instead of going through 10000 sites to find a good blog I just download the app and pin it to my start screen and I get Live Tile updates.

Just like that.

First of all, who sits at their desk looking at their desktop for 3 hours. Typical user logs in and opens whatever program they're going to use. Most of the time its a web browser. Second, I don't even know what to say about you biggin up using a phone app on a desktop instead of going direct to a website, Third, the modern UI does not stretch across multiple screens.

I run Windows 8 on my HTPC and for that application it works great, other than that, its straight dookie.
