The law of wholeness, if Game is never put into Gunit he runs the risk of suffering the same fate as Bishop Lamont, Eve, Rakim or Busta Rhymes. Interscope didn't know how to market "Game". 50 was on fire during that time so the move to align him with a blazing movement was genius.
Without that affiliation he may not have ever dropped a debut album let alone 6 solo albums and a compilation.
The DA was more about him showing his true artistry and the ability to stand alone when his back was against the wall. It also showcased his sustainably. Game was clearly determined not suffer the same fate as the other members of Gunit.
He'll always be associated with 50 cent.
