With the release of HIM, it’s time to have an honest discussion about Jordan Peele

I couldn't agree more, they plastered his name to get everyone to think it's his move so that they'd go see it.

The trailer it has the look and feel of one of his movies so you're right, he's gotta deal with it.

As producer he has control of the script. He could have made changes/rewrites. He picked the director, greenlit the cast etc. He's basically was what the general manager of a NBA/NFL team is to this film.

Yes you're correct about him being the equivalent of a general manager of a sports team. Peele put together a team that he felt would win, he can't control what happens a on the court\field.

In short, just because he liked it doesn't mean that the general public will.
