".... it's unquantifiable & priceless to me when you can have an artist come out of nowhere & sound like nothing else during that time. Often going against the grain & conventional wisdom (i.e. his constant singing when he was labeled as a "rapper"). There's a certain amount of honesty you get when you listen to his music. Even the fact that majority of his shyt isn't even mixed speaks to exactly how much he was on his grind and invested in starting the wave movement.
