Honestly, Im just being an extremely bitter Bulls fan right now
I hear ya but I don't think yall out the running for Bron/Melo yet. I'd take it down a notch if I were you, this deal doesn't guarantee Houston anything right now. Though they probably are the favorite for Melo.

As for the Pels, well they had to do something. If we don't get AD help he gonna do a CP3 on us and rightfully so. We have to be all in and make risky moves to assure him he has a chance at winning championships with quality talent here.

New Orleans mortaging picks and cap space to make the 8th seed one of these years :mjlol: Ad gone evnetually with these mediocre role players around him and no flexblity

so what would be your plan?

win <40 games every year...hope for the best in the lottery?

you need a mixture of good FA signings and lottery luck breh...

Pierre Jackson, Darius Miller, and Jeff Withey all are gonna be in their 2nd or 3rd years

I'd like to try for the Wizards to trade Webster to get one of Jackson or Withey to balance our roster out and give NOLA another shooter on the wings
They could also bring back Morrow as well, Isn't Gordon's contract going to be an expiring one next season, if so, that's a big ass trade asset with it being worth 15 million.

So their lineup is now:

Holiday
Gordon
Evans
Davis
Asik

Bench of:
Rivers
Pierre
Withey
Morrow
2nd Round Pick

That's a fukking intriguing team next year. Won't win cause the West is stupid loaded, but shyt If that team can stay together and grow, boy that could be scary team in the future :whew:

EDIT: shyt I forgot to add Anderson to that as well.

Not just about the Melo situation

We sat around on our asses and let Asik walk for nothing knowing full well we couldnt afford him that offseason

Now hes being moved for 1st rounders

I've been critical of some of our moves (overpaying EG, still 50-50 on Reke), but this deal is good for us. We're gonna get rid of EG eventually, that I am sure of.
Not really good at all, considering you may have given up a lottery pick for a rental.

With or without Asik, we are probably picking in the midteens of the draft. Doubt there is anyone in next year's draft that will be right away as good as Asik.
:beli:

People been yapping about us giving AD a solid center to play next to and now that we give him one, you in here acting like it's a got damn crisis that we got him a solid 5. We're building through AD. Asik's contract will take care of itself, esp after Gordon leaves. Trades are always debatable but this one needs to play out before you keep acting like we got fukked over. It's a front court of Anthony Davis and Omar Asik, how the hell can you possibly act like it's some awful deal?
That's like buying shyt with money you don't have. Pretty pointless to be clearing space for a one-dimensional 5, that doesn't provide impact/production equal to his contract, with a gaping hole at the 3 and only the MLE.

The Bulls need to fire Gar/Pax for not doing shyt and failing every off season

:beli:

If these a$$holes find a way to jag this shyt again I'm a throwup. I bet they'll bring back Boozer if they can't sign anybody big too.

Bringing back Boozer would be unfathomable and an embarrassing failure for our organization

that being said, you couldnt be more right about that possibility

so we are supposed to believe that if lebron and melo commit there are teams just lining up ready to take lin? :comeon:
Uhh ... well now they have a 2015 1st they can package with him

Lin is an expiring folks, hes not some unmovable long term contract. Morey is creative enough to move him if needed

Unless the NBA GMs around the league wont to cockblock him from being able to land Melo or Bron, then he can easily move Lin
