I mess with Dwight but the Clippers would be fools to trade Blake and Bledsoe to the Lakers for him. First of all they keep the Lakers relevant for the foreseeable future. Then they are trading a younger player who will improve hopefully for one who may not be what he used to be. Short term this may be considered a good move but if I were them I would keep Blake by any means necessary.

Here is the problem with your Paul Pierce theory. No fact Boston would cut PP. They could just trade him for a draft pick. PP does have trade value.

CP3 is testing the market. Now KG, Doc, and Griffin is more attractive than VDN and Jordan but will that win him a title? Probably not but it is more attractive. You can't trade Bledsoe on hopes that you can resign CP3.

I agree with you tho. You need to do whatever you can to resign CP3. Blake as the #1 will look good with box scores but it won't win you games and you will be like Houston then. Treadmill express in the West. At least, LAC has a shot, narrow shot but a shot with CP3.
