If you are the face of the league and can't show up because you not 100% condition then you are a fraud.

LeBron would not get away with this 70% shyt if it was him

You shooting bad then try gain assists and steals, don't disappear like fukking waldo
I don't think Curry is getting away with it either. He has been getting slammed everywhere.

Dappin/quoting a post of a tweet with a side comment that he was using his injury as an excuse, from somebody that's been shytting on him this season.

And that's what I do, I just had this conversation prior with somebody else on how I treat other players/teams. I'm not trying to be noble, just trying to be fair and consistent.

There's been a few comments regarding Mark Jackson (when he was the coach and post), Klay, Barnes, role players and against other teams in the league (funnily enough defending this OKC team) from the past few seasons that have been "unreasonable positive shyt" that I've contested. But then again, most of all the pro-Warriors related content I've disagreed with is usually rational. I mean the push back is mostly from one side, and they basically overcompensate by working on extremes. Just like it is with all the top players and teams over the last 5+ years. As you know. If it ain't from one's childhood then it's going to be thrown out at the first sign of failure.

:manny:

First of all dap monitoring is just silly :mjlol:. Posts get dapped for a variety of reasons including sarcasm and agreement with a certain part or just plain amusement. Secondly quoting a post equals co-signing now? :dead:. Thirdly he didn't even say anything. Lastly, I already told you what I was doing with that post.

:dead: at the bolded. That's exactly my point. You trying to make riding for the squad you like into riding for truth and consistency. Wouldn't consistency dictate that Curry and the Warriors get the same treatment the previous squads and top players in the L have received?

Is it possible (not asking you to say it is or it isn't) but is it not at least possible that things that you agree with are more likely to be deemed as rational or reasonable to you? Just look at this thread. I might be "infected" and I'm "co-signing" and why? Because I quoted a GSW hater (that didn't say anything :dead:) and made a reference to myself based upon their post?

You are correct in that you have plenty of 90s stans. We got plenty of cats that dismiss it if it hasn't happened in the last 5 years as well. Some stuff in the past was better. Some stuff now is better. Why can't we just call stuff what it is based on what it is without everything having to be a generational debate or stan wars? I know why others do it, I am talking about those of us that strive for keeping it 100 and acknowledging reality.

No excuses.

:coffee:Jordan had food poisoning. No excuses.

If the injury is publicized, isn't that an excuse according to your logic? Only Brett Favre's injuries have been mythicized to the extent that Kobe's have so you don't want to go down this road. The old trick of leaking an illness or injury to the media so they can ask you about it so you can dismiss it and be praised for your toughness :camby:

It's pathetic what sports dialogue has become. People are so desperate to protect certain player or team legacies that they try to disqualify any accomplishment of anyone else.

Warriors given an asterisk because Cleveland was hurt but its not like they are adding a ring to LeBrons count.

Heat given an asterisk because of a Ray Allen 3 but we don't say Duncan has 6 now.

These years are just supposed to disappear entirely because they don't serve any purpose for some agendas. Needless to say, there are some common themes in which players and teams the culprits are following.

I don't think these things are mutually exclusive. You're not taking credit away from OKC because you mention Curry isn't 100 percent just like you aren't taking credit away from GS by mentioning Cleveland's injuries last year. You can report facts without taking away credit.

OKC has done a great job on defense. They ran the Death Lineup off the court and basically made it unplayable. I know I didn't expect this level of discipline out of OKC. Roberson/Waiters playing their roles. KD playing the best defense of his career. RWB being consistent instead of the high variance guy we've known him to be.

IF THIS MAN IS 70%
WHY IS COY STEVE KERR ALLOWING HIM TO DEFEND WESTBROOK
INSTEAD OF HIDING HIM ON ROBERSON?

STEPH HEARS THE WHISPERS...
EVERYONE IN THE LEAGUE BEEN shytIING ON HIM
BECAUSE HE DOESNT GUARDS THE OPPOSING TEAMS ELITE PGS.

HE WANTED TO TAKE ON THE CHALLENGE
AND GO MANO Y MANO WITH WESTBROOK.
ITS EFFECTING HIS LEGS ON THE OFFENSIVE SIDE
BECAUSE HE DOESNT HAVE THE LUXURY OF RESTING ON DEFENSE ANYMORE.

HES GETTING BURNT OUT

AND
ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT.

Did you see the post game press conference? He was asked directly if guarding Westbrook was effecting him and it was all over his face. Dude started twitching turned red and all. Dude clearly has rabbit ears.

I respect Steph for not using it as an excuse, especially after the way they responded to the injury issue last summer. He knows there are no excuses here.

exactly. i don't want to hear it after the comments about beating the cavs team missing two starters.

plus he's the mvp. he should be finding other ways to contribute and motivate his team right?

curry needs to work on his attitude game during the offseason. he looks like a kid who dropped his ice cream when things aren't going their way. and it affects their whole team.

They shouldn't be. I think its fine to think one team may have won instead if not for injuries. The childish asterisk shyt is what needs to :camby:

These people aren't just discrediting the team that won, they're also not giving any credit to the team that their argument suggests was the rightful winner. They're just trying to straight up erase the outcome.
