I'm still mystified at the anti-Warriors hive mindset on here. It's impossible to have any reasonable discussion regarding them on here.

Someone playing "70%" is an opinion, not a fact. We don't know shyt about his health, he himself hasn't tried using it as an excuse nor has his coach. Yet "sources close to Curry", clearly not biased, are meant to be fact based?

Here's a fact: Westbrook>Curry.:umad:

@Regular_P You're trying to say a numerical hearsay a fact(which is stupid)....you're clearly biased in favor of Curry so all your emotional talk about this dude isn't about being fair, it's about being on his side. Did you jump off that Laker bandwagon when Kobe retired?

A few weeks ago there were cats in here saying the Dubs didn't need Curry to play AT ALL to win a series versus OKC.

Now we're in here making excuses that the Warriors getting blown out because the unanimous MVP is at 70%?? On a team that also boasts the "best all-around player in the NBA" in Draymond Groin and the "best shooting guard in the league" in Klay Thompson?

My, how the mighty have fallen.

Him being hurt has only been a convo since they have lost the last two games. When they blew OKC out in game 2 no one was screaming out he's 70 percent then. Stop with this bullshyt and just give OKC credit where it's due.
Nobody is using it as an excuse and everybody is giving OKC credit where it's due. Pity muh'fukkas didn't use this same reasoning last season.

Okay lets say he isnt 100%(which nobody really ever is at this time of the season)

Just how close to 100% does he have to be before we can acknowledge how substandard his play has been? Forget shooting as its not the only part of the game

He has an 18-17 turnover-assist ratio right now

Westbrook is 47-16....

You can have bad shooting nights and still be impactful

Look the series is not over....I expect GSW to win at least one more game....

But the injury argument rings hollow

All valid, but for Curry, a bad shooting night hinders him more than it does other players. Much more. The reason why Curry has been as dominant as he has been is because he steps off the bus in shooting range. If Steph -- record holder for most 3s, 50-40-90 club and all that -- isn't making his shots, then all of the handles and passing is honestly just there for show. He becomes rather ordinary as attacking the rim isn't exactly his game. So you can't just wipe out shooting as just part of the game when talking about someone who was PREMATURELY mentioned as a potential all-time great because of his shooting ability.

As for Westbrook, he's been playing his ass off, but an assist is only an assist if a shot is made right after the fact. So credit OKC for outplaying the Warriors from top to bottom (even though one thing I've noticed during these playoffs is that GSW is inconsistent as hell in getting Klay the ball when he's got the hot hand)

So Westbrook having more assists doesn't matter because you can successfully explain how assists are tabulated:mindblown:

i) He was probably asked a question regarding his ailments and he answered honestly
ii) He framed it by saying "mind over matter"

Don't tell me you're infected too breh. :mjpls:

With what....the "let's cop pleas for Steph/the Warriors we wouldn't tolerate for anyone else" disease. Nope I'm good. Are you? :mjpls:

It doesn't matter what was asked or how he tried to frame it. We know he hurt his knee. We know he's probably still experiencing pain. We know he's gotta put mind over matter. But he (nor his teammates) are doing that right now. That is all that is matters. Guys dismiss injury questions all the time. Either you can play or you can't. Either you are producing or you aren't.
