No that's one of the oldest tricks in the plea copping book. Right up there with "I'm not trying to make excuses but...".

A good bit of Kobe Bryant's legacy is built on "mind over matter" and yet he is WORSHIPPED.

Y'all are letting the media get you brehs all up in arms because they are trying to push an agenda that you don't agree with. The media/"sources" are saying that Curry isn't healthy or at full strength. We've seen a playoffs where Steve Kerr held Curry out of a considerable portion of the two series before this one because he was like, "If there's a chance he could aggravate an injury or not be himself, etc. he won't play." And I know, the Western Conference Finals are different, but I doubt Kerr would put Curry out there if he wasn't able to help the team.

If you watch the games, formulate your own opinion and go from there. Injury concerns or not, the fact is, OKC is playing its ass off and the Warriors are getting beat. Injury has nothing to do with it, and the Warriors have not said anything about it. And why would they? Them claiming that injuries had anything to do with this pretty much spits in the face of the same narrative they had to fight last year.

So Westbrook having more assists doesn't matter because you can successfully explain how assists are tabulated:mindblown:

Westbrook is finding people, and they are knocking down shots. I flat out said he is playing his ass off. The crux of the post you selectively quoted that snippet from basically attempted to refute the point that "A bad shooting night doesn't mean you can't impact the game" because we're talking about a player whose most significant impact on a game relies on him knocking down shots.

I've said through this whole thread that OKC is outplaying GSW, hell, I said it RIGHT AFTER the part your quoted. What posts are you reading that makes you think I said any differently, breh?

I don't worship the nikka. I respect his greatness and I call it how it is about his ass too. He had the Brett Favre "look at all the injuries I am playing through" in him.

Not sure who the rest of that is directed at. I am responding to what he said and how he has played.

@FTBS I never said YOU worshipped him. I said he is worshipped, as in by people on this forum and everywhere else.

The rest is just in general relation to the discussion at hand.

Now you know what it was like when dudes kept bringing up injuries in argument against them in series' last season. See how pathetic it sounds when you're on the other side of it? :mjpls:
you know what injured players usually do ? the put on a suit and sit out. :mjpls:

cus when you play theres no excuses :mjpls:

With what....the "let's cop pleas for Steph/the Warriors we wouldn't tolerate for anyone else" disease. Nope I'm good. Are you? :mjpls:
:dwillhuh:

I think you'll find it's the other way around. The "let's cop pleas for the league that we wouldn't use for Curry/the Warriors" syndrome.
It doesn't matter what was asked or how he tried to frame it. We know he hurt his knee. We know he's probably still experiencing pain. We know he's gotta put mind over matter. But he (nor his teammates) are doing that right now. That is all that is matters. Guys dismiss injury questions all the time. Either you can play or you can't. Either you are producing or you aren't.
:heh:

This is hilarious. It's like I'm in the Twilight Zone. It's as if dudes either are ignorant to all the asterisk talk or they're just trying to blatantly re-write TheColi history books.

Then what is the relevance if you are talking to me about what I said? Letting other folks narratives and agendas put you up in arms? :mjpls:

@Regular_P You're trying to say a numerical hearsay a fact(which is stupid)....you're clearly biased in favor of Curry so all your emotional talk about this dude isn't about being fair, it's about being on his side. Did you jump off that Laker bandwagon when Kobe retired?
Being a Lakers fan means I can't comment on other teams, huh? :francis:

Yeah like Curry is going to sit out because he isn't completely healthy, and as if that would stop y''all from saying it was karma for what happened last season if he did sit out - I know y'all dudes would manipulate it into some asinine bullshyt. Conley and Allen played in the GS/Memphis series last season, why were their lingering injuries used as excuses?

What that got to do with me though? What please have I copped? When have you seen me say anything about an asterisk or any of that other shyt? I am well aware of the bullshyt...on both sides. If you are consistent with it then cool. If not .
