Now you know what it was like when dudes kept bringing up injuries in argument against them in series' last season. See how pathetic it sounds when you're on the other side of it? :mjpls:

Are you really comparing the MVP being "70%" according to "sources" to starters on other teams actually missing games?:patrice:

Nah. I'm saying his offensive/shooting abilities mean more to his game than anything else in his arsenal right now. It would be basically the same as Westbrook losing his athleticism/explosiveness.

Sounds an awful lot like a DH to me:jbhmm:

Nope just throwing your shyt right back at you. Isn't that what you always like to do? Bet there wouldn't have been any concerns about my knowledge base if I echoed your sentiments.
:heh:

This would make sense if I was actually using his injury(ies) as an excuse in the first place. But since I'm not you're just throwing shyt at the wall. If you echoed my sentiments about this whole thing you wouldn't have said that ignorant shyt in the first place.

Just like your "infected" comment would have made sense if I was doing anything other than keeping it a buck. I'm sure "ignorant" shyt you agree with would have been cool though :manny:.

So can we call Russell Westbrook a DH, too? He's all athlete. Without that, he's nothing. James Harden is all offense, no defense. So I guess he's a DH as well. Klay Thompson is basically a one to three trick pony in GS, so yep, DH. LeBron, much like Russell, is an athletic freak. Let's call him a DH with everybody else.

Come on, breh. You're smarter than this.

Well first of all, besides the fact that 70% isn't even being a reliable estimate, we know he isn't completely healthy and that he perhaps he re-aggravates it during games when he's playing heavy minutes or just in the motion of running . What effect it's had on his game, I don't know and I don't think this board particularly cares either way, they were only really concerned bout the severity of injuries in the opposing teams that played them. Second of all, that comment was mostly based around the players that were carrying injuries but still played against the Warriors in the PS; not the ones who didn't play at all.

Probably comparing people saying the Warriors can't use injuries as an excuse for losing when those were some of the same people running around all summer using injuries as an excuse for why the Warriors beat certain teams in the playoffs last year

I don't give passes either way, you play who's in front of you. But let's not act brand new like hypocrites aren't out there

All valid, but for Curry, a bad shooting night hinders him more than it does other players. Much more. The reason why Curry has been as dominant as he has been is because he steps off the bus in shooting range. If Steph -- record holder for most 3s, 50-40-90 club and all that -- isn't making his shots, then all of the handles and passing is honestly just there for show. He becomes rather ordinary as attacking the rim isn't exactly his game. So you can't just wipe out shooting as just part of the game when talking about someone who was PREMATURELY mentioned as a potential all-time great because of his shooting ability.

As for Westbrook, he's been playing his ass off, but an assist is only an assist if a shot is made right after the fact. So credit OKC for outplaying the Warriors from top to bottom (even though one thing I've noticed during these playoffs is that GSW is inconsistent as hell in getting Klay the ball when he's got the hot hand)

the most valuable player in the league should have value outside of shooting

and Curry is high 60% finisher around the rim

His passing should be the difference here.....

All of this is moot.....all he needs to say is I have to play better.....when he does that he can get back to the showboating

Iguodala, Barnes, Ezeli, all of them can and likely will step up
