But they needed to say he wasn't 100% when he blacked out and blew them out in game 2. And he screamed out "I'm Back!!" when he blacked out in that OT against Portland. I'm quick to give someone the benefit of the doubt if he's injured but its just seems so convenient that after they get ran off the court two games in a row that the media will cape for Curry to save face cause they've been worshiping him literally all season. They gave Curry MVP, Kerr coach of the year, 73 wins, Draymond gets to do whatever the hell he wants. The media has to fall back and let this play out imo. Plus there's literally no credit given what OKC has done so far which is terrible

OKC deserves all the credit in the world. They're playing great as a team. If you look at the numbers, Durant and Westbrook aren't shooting that great in this series, but they're getting everybody involved. Their defensive aggressiveness has clearly thrown Golden State out of whack.

Curry seems to be moving pretty well to me, but he did sprain his ankle and MCL during these playoffs. If he tweaked the injuries again, I wouldn't be surprised. He's been the best player in the league the past two years, so when he looks off and he's already been injured twice in the past month, it's only natural for people to wonder if he's hurting again.

I think Curry even said a week or two ago that his knee wasn't right, but it was as good as it's gonna get for the time being and he just had to play through it.

I never expected him to come back 100% from an MCL anyway. Curry gets respect for being quiet and playing through it but the media is cause they're down 3-1.

It's subtle but he doesn't have the same quickness or burst. He literally can't beat big men on switches in the same way he's done most of the year. His ability to create seperation on his shot isn't the same. His step back jumper was unblockable the entire year, now it's not. His conditioning also isn't the same. A lot of us have been saying it since his first game back so it's not something we're pulling out as an excuse now that the Warriors are down 3-1. Outside of that Portland OT where it was like he just willed himself into a good performance & game 2 of the WCF where he looked more like Kyke Korver than Curry I'm personally just not seeing the same guy. Like I've said before, I don't have an agenda here, I'm just watching the game. In all honesty it's in my best interest financially for curry to continue looking like this as I have a futures bet on OKC to win the title.
