Don't know how a college coach will mesh with Bron and AD but I'm glad that JJ is not the guy.

Now this would be a progressive move. We tried this with Coach K at one point. Rob is a forward thinker just has too much Klutch BS to deal with.

I really don't see a made man like Hurley putting it all on the line for maybe 2 years of Bron and then a rebuild, the LeTea leaves are real murky on this one :lupe:

Exactly. The man is using this to get more money from UConn. Should bide his time and wait for the Knicks job to open up

Hiring a college coach for Lebron is not a good idea

Bron ain’t trying to fit into a new system or culture at this age
Then he needs to get the fukk on I don't know why LA dealing with dude like that when his best accomplishment as a Laker is a bubble ring.

True. Don’t see how we sign a coach to a (much?) longer tenure than what Bron resigns for.

You haven't been following the Lakers. Pelinka wanted the Westbrook trade as much as the players did. You're just running with bullshyt narratives instead of looking at the actual facts.

There is other shyt that clown did. 3 years ago he decided to fill the roster out with every 38 year old in the league. How did Jaden McDaniels end up on the Wolves? Who hired Ham?

Again name a gm with a worst resume. This is a gm who does not value assets. He let's them walk for nothing or trades them away for nothing. He is awful.
I’m not running with any bullshyt narratives. We are all adults and we can take the time to ask follow ups before copying and pasting your Rob hate list. If you think Rob Pelinka is a worse GM than Sean Marks then I don’t know what to tell you. And how does listing any of those other moves take away from what I said about Russ. All you did was post your Lakers-centric angst. I could literally show you 5 GMs worse than Rob in 5 minutes if I had the time.

But let’s take 30 seconds to talk about the foolishness of your post. Rob doesn’t let people walk for nothing by himself - he quite literally is part of the most hands-on front office in the NBA as Magic Johnson explained to you and one that also doesn’t want to spend. He has his faults and can be upgraded but calling him the worst is something only a Lakers fan would say.

For comparison, Sean Marks has failed to add any sort of big man with size to the Nets for a decade. Which is why he had to keep signing over the hill veterans for depth. He has been at the helm of 5 different head coach hires including his friend Steve Nash. He traded away all of his team’s depth for James Harden and then traded James Harden away from Ben Simmons without performing a physical so Ben could not play. He traded away Kyrie Irving for DFS, Spencer and some average picks. He turned down 4 first round draft picks for Mikail Bridges. He then turned down Jalen Green and all of the Nets picks they gave up for Harden for Bridges. He signed Cam Johnson to a deal of like 22 million a year. He consulted Joe Harris on team decisions. JOE HARRIS. He buys high and sells low on everyone.

He assembled a roster so small Bruce Brown was playing PF. He hasn’t had a back up PG or wing depth in years. Royce O’Neal had to bring the ball up the court. Like what are we talking about?
