No NBA player is taking that ish, I think dwane casey is the last coach I remember benching a star player in a pivotal moment in the NBA ( derozan ) and raps traded him right after we lost that series and fired casey

I'm not sure Hurley would come if Luka was there in place already. He's the king of the hill at UConn and its his world to do what he wants with it. Why would he leave that?

Guys like Hurley, Pitino, Izzo, etc doesn't translate well to the pros. They're good and getting everything they can out of their players. Managing superstars is a whole other story. How you think Lebron would take to Hurley's antics?

Even Beilein who's less intense but still an excellent coach was in and out of the NBA like nothing. Dan's ego is too big for that shyt.
