brehs just saw this and gotta admitted I was a bit disappointed. don't get me wrong it was a solid flick, but about a half hour too long. the acting was damn solid. the drug scenes were funny, but overall a disappointment considering all the hype it received. I give it a 6 out of 10. definitely worth the watch, but could have waited until DVD.

Thanks for the info. FYI it won best picture and Sorcese got his Oscar, so just wondering. If you have time watch it, it is pretty good.
I didn't think it deserved Best picture though. Check out the Asian version of the movie it basically copied, I forget the name of it though.
