My gym has privacy bathrooms for transgender people and people who have body issues and don't want to change in front of others. More gyms need to consider spaces like that to avoid drama.

That's plain and simply wrong. Their policy allows for a person with a penis to come in the locker room if they identify as a woman. Only person that would get booted out is you if you complain.
