I think the age group is very important here. In HS you have young girls and boys who are still developing and who are uncomfortable and not experienced with getting undressed in front of their peers, let alone the opposite sex. We're talking grown people though. Honestly though, I'm pretty progressive, so if I had a daughter I don't think it would bother me. Adult supervision is usually required in those spaces anyway, right? There's also the fact that if there's one or two of these type of people in the locker room, my child wouldn't have to change next to them. At least when I was in HS, if you wanted privacy, you could go to another area of the lockerroom or even the bathroom if you felt uncomfortable.
