As I said in the Gretchen kidnapper thread. This country is far too lenient on the absolute shytstains of society. Need to lock these people up and throw away the keys

Who is saying she is some innocent Craigslist seller? We are comparing their culpability and there is a clear imbalance.

You keep repeating that she is just as responsible but you have done nothing to show that this is the case. You're not going to be able to do it because setting out to defraud someone is fundamentally different to setting out to shoot someone.
Do you know the laws fam? She’s lucky that state didn’t have the laws where you can be tagging along and get hemmed up in a felony murder rule . Let alone the one who plotted it

She didn’t have a real gun which is probably why she wasn’t charged anything worse than endangering a minor during a crime.

Like how robbing a bank with a gun vs robbing a bank without a gun.

None of that matters. There’s guys in jail for decades for lending people cars and someone ends up dead. If someone dies during commission of a felony in many states, you can be charged with a murder simply for riding in a car on the way to said crime and never leaving the vehicle

Stealing less than a thousand dollars isn’t a felony. It’s petty larceny.

That’s why they try to pile on charges. Tricking someone into buying a broken Ps5 vs robbing someone with a gun to get one isn’t going to carry the same penalty.

Being in the car isn’t what gets people caught up. It’s not telling after the fact on the criminal. If you didn’t know before hand, after you drive off once you know a crime was committed you need to confess vs getting caught.

Don’t think you know the laws. Literally loaning cars has gotten people caught up. Being in the car as well.

The felony here is murder. Someone died because of a scheme she orchestrated.

The hell does she know about wealth inequality at her age..
You don't have to know the phrase or be educated on it's meaning to feel it's effects.

The fact of the matter is middle-class or upper middle class people don't get caught up in mess like this. Very few people in that class would be desperate enough to commit fraud involving a gun for a measly $400.

I get that, but she's still way too young to be casually planning heists and getaways..
She was on a full scholarship too.

I don't think you know the law.

There is an obvious difference between lending someone your car, to assist them with stealing drugs and beating someone up, and getting shot at after defrauding someone.

Why don't you read into what you're talking about to see how the principle is applied?

Read your own article. He knew about the robbery attempt beforehand. He’s aiding a crime. He didn’t tell the police beforehand.

She didn’t bring a gun. There was no expectation of violence with her crime. The felony is from the party who pulled the weapon.

People swap stuff all the time. Cops tell you to be wary of this in the first place. Meeting strangers.

400 bucks is small claims court level stuff.

You just want her to be punished for her stupidity and recklessness.
