R.I.P. to this young lady.
But I keep telling y'all, there's something wrong with this society that has become so "liberated and tolerant"
You got Black folks who lived through hundreds of years of slavery and Jim Crow and mass incarceration and weren't doing this like this generation is doing now and falling to suicide and drug overdoses.
Goes to show you that when you do away with real communities and promote cultural chaos, people feel lost.
Young people have no idea about where they belong in this society anymore, so they hit 30 and realize that they have no idea about where they're going or what they're doing even though they may have money or fame.or instagram followers it falls apart.
Folks may scoff, but there's a reason this shyt is accelerating.
The only thing that is going to solve this is for Black folks to get back to being community/family oriented and stop telling these kids that being a doctor, lawyer, basketball player, rapper, actor, etc. . .is more important than building strong Black families.
