Yeah I don't get it. You live in the life others dream of. If you don't like it just quit and live off the grid or something.

You really don't get it.

You can have all of this and still be depressed.

Nothing outside of yourself will fill you up. Trust me, I had hundreds of thousands in the bank last summer and was depressed as fukked. I remember having 50K on the Bucks in G5 of the NBA finals. The Next day I didn't even want to get out of bed I was so depressed.

R.I.P. to this young lady.

But I keep telling y'all, there's something wrong with this society that has become so "liberated and tolerant":francis:

You got Black folks who lived through hundreds of years of slavery and Jim Crow and mass incarceration and weren't doing this like this generation is doing now and falling to suicide and drug overdoses.

Goes to show you that when you do away with real communities and promote cultural chaos, people feel lost.

Young people have no idea about where they belong in this society anymore, so they hit 30 and realize that they have no idea about where they're going or what they're doing even though they may have money or fame.or instagram followers it falls apart.

Folks may scoff, but there's a reason this shyt is accelerating.

The only thing that is going to solve this is for Black folks to get back to being community/family oriented and stop telling these kids that being a doctor, lawyer, basketball player, rapper, actor, etc. . .is more important than building strong Black families. :yeshrug:

People really out here saying being beautiful is a curse??
:rudy:

Can you imagine the life of a fat AND ugly AND uneducated AND broke woman in today's world?

We all get dealt some cards for this game of life and we struggle to make it work for us. RIP but rage quit is rage quit.

Oh, it's much worse than that. Modern society expects women to be an embodiment of every man's fantasy walking Japanese robotic sex doll with bigger than your head tiddies, slim waist and a huge 55 inch ass and permanently 23 years old. Even these feminists who claim to fight for women do nothing to stop the extreme objectification of women. If anything, women's liberation encourages average women to get bbl, lipo and other extremely risky procedures as if being a build a thot is empowering.

Think about it, Instagram, one of the biggest social media platforms is mostly dedicated to blatant thoterry.

Imagine if men were socially pressured into injecting synthol and getting limb lengthening surgery, penis enlargement and man weaves. But now, its completely normal to see everyday women n real life who've obviously had bbl, breast aug etc.

Women are judged by their looks first and foremost. When a dime does something of value to society, every man like "aw that's cute" but most attention comes from her body. A dime could cure cancer, but most of her followers on IG would be following her to drool over her ass.

Having your looks being your most valuable asset as judged by society is probably more damaging to attractive women because looks and beauty are fleeting. Which is why this girl talked about turning 30 like she was turning 55.

Capitalism.

Thinking a little outside the box, maybe she received some devastating news? Like a terminal diagnosis? Or…she’s just been dealing with depression most of her life and got tired of fighting through it. We will probably never know. May she Rest In Peace. And thankfully nobody below was killed.

Damn....this is one of the reasons I could never envy celebs or anyone else for that matter, you just never know what's going on inside.

RIP to her. I'm not familiar with her at all, but just looking at some of her videos where she's interacting with people, she literally had everything going for herself. It's sad that she felt there was no other option. I don't know her circumstances, but sometimes it's worth taking a break for a couple of years or so if you feel life is taking its toll.

You never really know what people are going through at the end of the day. People who don't have money and fame put a mich higher value on it than people who get it and find out it's not going to put them in a state of eternal bliss like they imagined.
Money is a synthetic substance. It doesn't even really exist. You can't go in nature and 'find money.' Money is just something humans pick and assign value to. People just get excited over the dream that money will make all of their problems go away, which it won't. Fame isn't all that either. Think of all the actors, rockstars, etc. that commit suicide. Being unable to enjoy simple public interactions like going to the movies or to a restaurant without being bothered has to be annoying.

Sometimes we work ourselves to isolation and depression..

The "career" is a constant chase that tells you need to kill your peace of mind for an extra 25k

I've seen homeless people have more joy than me and they live on the fukking street...:mjcry:

Sometimes you really gotta say fukk work and take a vacation

The point went over your head. Think critically and put aside that knee jerk reaction to shield the left.

I provided an example in my post so there really is no excuse for you to reach the conclusion that I was referring to people pushing for collective ownership, Labour rights, and civil rights when I said "extreme left".

When I say extreme left, I am referring to the sort of people pushing for a society where all semblance of responsibility is removed. The sort of people the far right cherrypick to misrepresent what people are calling for in reform.
:dwillhuh: So a group of people that doesn’t exist :gucci:

Were you dropped on the head as an infant?

I provided an example in my post, so evidently they do exist. Why are you still arguing?

It seems as though we are on the same page, but you are unwilling to admit that you had a knee jerk reaction to the mention of "left". You took it as shot at people trying to pass policies that will improve people's day to day life when, in actuality, it was a shot at the people relying on the extreme representatives of a movement to mischaracterise it and shift focus.
