Plotted. Got a fast food job that was nights so I was outta the cold. Slept in hospital waiting rooms, bus stations, etc. I had my age on my side that helped me with a lot of benefits from the state. Got a 5k grant from Salvation Army through my case worker at this drop in spot like 5 months in. Didn’t take long

I met a homeless guy at the gas station he just got out of prison and had nothing. He went to a megachurch and they said he had to be member to get help from their job center and to sleep in their special housing. So he was 10 days into their 14 day orientation to become a member. They didn't even give him a meal. It's crazy how many programs make you jump through hoops to get help they are getting tax breaks on anyway.
