He seems to have taken a celebrity story about an actor and a blogger and extrapolated that into commentary about an entire community of people. The opposite of "thinking for yourself".

This has been a problem long before Michael B. Jordan, breh.
And all of that discussion happening doesn’t only apply to a celebrity situation. Do you think people don’t carry those thoughts and opinions into their personal lives?

I agree to an extent. My angle is not men being above women or vice-versa but for Black men to take control of our humanity.
I 100% agree that a woman has no weight in the discussion of manhood just as a man has no weight in the discussion of womanhood.
Women are pushing each other to embrace their masculine energy
:dahell:

A man has plenty of weight in the discussion of womanhood right now because women got it all wrong.

It's because of women that all this trans nonsense is a thing. We as men gotta make the decisions cause women fukking up the game

And Black American men will never develop a healthier sense of self until we take them out of the equation.
I’m not saying we as men don’t have toxic beliefs nor am I saying we didn’t foster and originate some of these toxic ideas, but there is currently too much noise surrounding these conversations to leave it the way it is now.
This is not a bash Black women thread.
This is a Black men taking responsibility and accountability for the betterment of ourselves and our futures.
It is partly our fault as a collective that productive Black men are seen in an unflattering light because of comparison to a caricature that we(no not you personally) have helped popularize, and that’s precisely why change starts with us and only us.

Eh...that depends. As a former inner city math tutor and a mentor to Black boys, I can assure you that many Black boys who threw their lives away and got caught up in BS did it to impress other Black boys and this is something that even extends to adulthood too.

It's going to take more than just "ignoring women" to fix the issue. A lot of these dysfunctional street dudes focus more on impressing each other than broads truth be told.

If you want to skip the video:

IMO, if you want to get out of the Matriarchy, gotta be in a Producer/Nation Building/Industrialist/Estate/Institution building mindset

I guess it all depends on how you define masculinity. I don’t find women masculine, bad behaving(not all), yes. Masculine? No.
But the point is that I hold your opinion on manhood in higher value because you are a man, you’ve lived through this shyt. And your opinions are shaped by experience.

If Black Men are going to combat this, they have to have facts and use calm when they can

DR. TJ Curry is good at this

And they going to have to have charisma

We haven't seen that yet

I think backlash is coming but it may still be too late

I don’t think I spoke for anyone. I just gave my assessment on an issue that I think has been plaguing our community for a while.

I’m already walking alone on this forum as 90% of the things I believe are the exact opposite of the Coli collective.

Everyone in the black community don't have women problems. And those who do bring that shyt on themselves because 90% of the black community has a serious communication problem.
