Bolded is nothing but the truth. The only way I could see this being wrong is if they don't see the breakup coming. But in my experiences, women (at least the ones I deal with in various walks of life) are somewhat quick to forget/let go of things unless they never had the chance to detach from the situation before it went foul on them.
