Women really love older men

None of the men I've dated were more than 1-2 years older than myself (my husband is only a year older), but younger dudes (10+ years younger) constantly tried to chat me up. I don't look my age/like I'm almost 40, but even when I told them, they didn't care.

Large age gaps weird me out; I'm not looking for a surrogate father or someone young enough to be my child, so I don't get the appeal.

There's a limit to this. Money and the illusion of establishment plays a HUGE role...and that's about it folks. Otherwise ideally if a woman could find a younger man her age with those attributes, she would choose him.

With age comes ED, mutated sperm, dudes who are set in their ways and old-fashioned, out of touch with ur generation, and the male baggage just continues with age, frequent divorces, children from other relationships, child support being paid out, bitterness, debt, health issues, maybe reluctant to remarry.

Women are more willing to overlook age if a man has it together than men are willing to do so in women. That's what ur seeing. A few might express a preference for older guys. But it's usually b/c of the illusion of wealth or being established or mature. But if she can find those qualities in a man closer to her age, she will.

I'm like 23. I realized all the girls I went to school with, in my community, or girls I know in general. Have had at least one fling with a older man or is getting tossed by a bunch of them.

Like the hottest girl from my high school days played basically every dude in the school. Every one wanted a piece of that. Dudes tried so hard. But here she is looking badder than ever in her 20s having kids and deeply in love with some guy who's about 38. Breh really looks like that chill old dude who stays with a black n mild and prefers to get drunk off henny n talk shyt on 2k during the weekends instead of going out so he can take care of his five year old son who won't stop crying because he tired but dad too focused on trying to smack golden state so all he says is "take yo little ass to bed"

I'm not even mad older heads getting these dimes my age I just want to know why it happens so often tho.

I've heard the answers of because older men are better providers than the young men and the coli hating version of old men just taking advantage of a young chick excuse cause she not mentally developed all the way.


Like I get it but at the same time these women be having their own cribs and doing shyt the right way they don't need a provider they just choose to get with these older dudes.

And you mean to tell me a female with her own crib own car paying her bills in her 20s suddenly not mentally developed for a older man so they being taken advantaged of? just sound like some shyt dudes who don't have the option or can't because they married to their high school sweet heart type of shyt would say.


Again I'm not mad I'm just interested with how dudes their age be struggling so hard to get some of these young ladies attention meanwhile she obsessing over a dude who actually saw Michael Jordan play n watch Kobe debut.


Its gotta be some factor with the guy right? Like he finally found himself n his mojo who also finally understands women after long years of trial n error?

It's just the way of the world. If you handle your business you can eat too when you get older.

This thread is good. It's true. In general younger women like older men. I hear it alot from my peers. I have a close friend that loves older men, way older 10-15 yrs older, 35-40 range. However, she doesn't attract them often. Usually she attracts 27-33 and she would prefer other wise. I guess those men are close to our age range being 24.
As myself, I'm completely opposite. I wish i attracted 25-30ish like my friend but i always get dudes that are 35-40 ever since i was 18 and i dont get it. It bothered me at first cause i look younger than my age. I've been told i can pass for 16-18 from people my age range and older. I look like a teen but some how these men know I'm a grown woman lol. Maybe its the way I carry myself. I don't know but some women keep telling me try to date older but I noticed they have issues too.

Yeah if your George clooney. A lot of older men are fat and let themselves go. If I go single imma have lots of baggage and I’d rather the girl have the same. If I go younger ole girl gonna give me her all and I’ll be . I’ll treat her nice and buy her shyt but I already had a life before you so you ain’t gonna have all my attention. That being said I know them younger girls still gonna try. Not being available 100% is always so appealing to women
