17-24 range are all in the same boat mentally. People at 17/18 make the same dumb mistakes at 24 (Obviously) This society got yall thinking a 24 year old is so grown and mature when they aint. You sit a 24 year old next to a 17 year old and it's dang near the same mental behavior.

Don't get it twisted that doesn't mean I condone this, but it's not some big outrage to me. Especially now that we letting kids under the age of 16 determine their gender and sexual orientation.

Ones a teenager in high school the other ones not and past college.

Again like I said that age group is much closer mentality than people like to act. It's a reason 17-25 olds don't mind hanging out with each other. I'm not saying they are the exact same, the older person has probably experienced a bit more, but that's really about it.

But the few I do talk to all seem very "carefree" and immature. I'm sure the 17 year old is checking in with rules and things where as the 24 has more freedom... but man when they open there mouth it all sounds quite similar. But you probably right too... Talking to anyone under 25 and they all seem come off the sameish now lol.

I'm moreso thinking of myself as a highschooler talking to someone who finished gradschool.
Or someone as a freshman in college talking to someone done with college in her profession. I think when you look at it that way, its very diff.

lol I guess if you go right into college you right, but here most people either aint go right in, took "year" breaks or etc etc..

again I'm not championing this stuff, I guess I just remember not only seeing the age mix of people coming up but being a part of that mix. Also around that age I got into hobbies that included nothing but a mix of older people and people my age at the time, wasn't a but of chicks around with said hobby, but still walking into a venue with a group of teens and 20 year olds was super common.

Mentally and maturity wise, if someone is remotely the same person at 24 as they were at 17, they did something very, very wrong. Wasting seven pivotal years walking on a treadmill instead of walking uphill and covering ground. Three guesses as to how life turns out for them.
