I was just gonna say this after reading the article. Regardless of how they view themselves, trans people need to understand that not every woman supports their movement and may not want to be in the presence of men whilst seeking refuge after being a rape victim.

I think the men understand this, they just don’t care. Look at the transmen taking advantage of bio females in sports. It’s only going to get worse from here.

It's not even about bowing down to them, the women who need the help are more important than the few trehs coming in there. If they need help too, I don't see the issue helping them as well. A couple of trehs coming in is not worth losing your funding for the other hundreds of women who need the shelter.
