The Rainmaker
Mr. Money in the Bank
I've always wondered who (if anyone) of the current WWE roster votes in this. Or if only indy guys send their ballots.

...coax him to do 2 years near full time and call him the GOAT. We'd see what Stone Cold, HBK, and The Rock says about coming back to feud with him then. Should've already done something like this if you thought you'd get Jerrah World.I wouldn't bet against him being a dikk in real life... But I agree, better heel than faceHe's overrated to all hell us why. It's cool. The Yes Movement was a real feelgood thing, that carried the torch of the pipe bomb and went mainstream. But....he really really really sucks as a face, which is what he's going to be pushed as until he retires. Heelish seems closer to his latent personality (not that he's a dikk in real life at all, it's just a lot easier to act the opposite of your normal state).
Perfect never won anything above Intercontinental. He was just a great promo. Could've done a lot more, but was in a packed roster. If you're off the ballot, are you off for good? Because AJ seems young to even be on/looks like he can wrestle for years if he chooses to.
And Bill Apter isn't in. Those mags were a staple of my childhood
Mr. Perfect isn't even in? What kind of Hall of Fame is this?![]()
Forgot he was from Washington State. Lived in Redmond for 2 years. Those dudes can be some fukking pricks lmao.I wouldn't bet against him being a dikk in real life... But I agree, better heel than face
Pretty sure you can get back on, I think Dave said it takes some convincing thoughIf you're off the ballot, are you off for good? Because AJ seems young to even be on/looks like he can wrestle for years if he chooses to.
Kidd, Owens, Rollins, Young, Balor, to name a few follow Meltz on twitter so probably themI've always wondered who (if anyone) of the current WWE roster votes in this. Or if only indy guys send their ballots.
Nakamura got in? Yeah that really is a joke. Its wayyyyy too early and considering how his main event run started (New Japan Black anyone?) He still had a ways to go. Especially if AJ Styles still cant even stay on the ballot!I love Nakamura, I really do. But him getting in, let alone with a 73% is a fukking jokehis case is little bit better than Orton and Punk, but he still doesn't have enough to get in. And to think Fujiwara can't even get on the ballot
Colon finally made it
Surprised D-Bry didn't get in considering all the praise and awards he's gotten on the WON. It was his first year on the ballot so it makes sense other people took precedence. But considering all the stock A LOT of voters put in Dave's opinion and awards (that's how Nakamura got so many votes) I thought DB was going to get right away. He'll surely get in next year without Brock in the way. Sting is gonna get in next year most likely too, there aren't a lot of US guys left and he did enough "business" this year for people on the fence giving him a vote in 2016.
AJ Styles off the ballot makes no sense either. Specially because these last two years have made him a legit candidate. TNA really fukks people's perception on a wrestler, wouldn't shock if folk think he only has these past 2 years for a case
And I'm the farthest thing from a Lucha expert, but even I know Perrito getting in before fukking Villano III is an even bigger joke than Nakamurathat's what a WON obit can do for a guy on a WON HOF I guess.

Jericho, Flair, Bret, Foley etc are guys who really care about this stuff so definitely them as well as far as WWE-affiliated
I can definitively imagine Bret Hart analyzing the list over weeks and weeks, pondering over every candidate...
...and then sending a blank ballot because no one is better than him. 4/10.

You're absolutely right. I never got into ROH, but I've heard that's were he's done his best work. I stand completely corrected, as I should know how Vince and Co. treats outsiders (not home grown) intially. If you are basing a dude's career just on their WWE stint that's fine but most WON voters go beyond that.
Henning isn't a good candidate even if you put his AWA years into consideration though.
Like it or not. Most of the people that vote for D-Bry in this kinda thing do it solely based on his work as an in ring performer. Whether you are agree or not, he's considered by most people - and specially WON readers - as the best or one of the best wrestlers of this generation. So whatever he did as a character in WWE is just the cherry on top (that's how a guy like Benoit got in). Wrestlers probably didn't vote for him because he's never been a big draw (despite his huge popularity in WWE the last few years) and that takes precedence over anything else with "the boys", specially when you have other dudes on the ballot.
I'll like to see how dudes like Styles and Punk did with wrestlers too. If they are a lot higher than D-Bry then him being not liked is a true possibility
If I had to guess most WWE guys don't even have time to send a ballot. And if they do, they put zero thought into it. shyt, Mark Madden tweeted he voted for the Andersons this year and they are not even on the ballot![]()

these fukking retards didn't put in Mean Gene or Bill Apter. If it wasn't for Apter nobody would know who half the hall of famers even are.
