Word of advice, never accept your parent's friend request on FB

Facebook absolutely sucks. It's only tumblr for me now...BTW.

If you want to connect with me online...too bad. I'd rather interact with strangers online like yourself than people I actually know in real life.

I have my dad on Facebook. Dude is using a fake screen name, fake email address and has only ever uploaded 2 pictures. Has private messaging turned off and his wall is private.

This thread prompted me to check his profile and I saw this:

My dad found out about facebook this week, signed up and added me. I hesitantly pressed Accept Friend Request and it's been a shyt show ever since. He has literally gone through every one of my pics and added a corny comment on it. He replied to my friend's comment on one of my picture. The comment was made in 2009 Some please tell me a way to throttle this fukkery without fully blocking him.

Don't accept Friend request from any relative over 40. They don't understand how people use facebook now and use it based off what all the features the website offers. I get pokes....thats right pokes from relatives n/h. Like nobody pokes since like 2007. They will comment on every status and picture with something corny or very family related or personal thats embarassing. I be tempted to say something when they respond like"lol cousin" or "thanx uncle" so people realize these corny people are family I was born into and not friends that I actively decided to have in my life. They even put pictures of themselves in responses to my statuses lol...what chick gonna want to marry into a wacko family like mine.

I promote my clubs events and guest list stuff, free before 11:30 type shyt, and the other day my mom commented "I'm on my way !"

This broad I went to high school with accepted her grandmother whom she did not agree with procreating with a cac on FACEBOOK. The grandmother went through all of her granddaughters photos and decided to call child protective services on her single mother daughter. They took her children away for unsafe living conditions (the father died in one of Bush's wars).
